Why do I have to pay to join?
We do not take the financial commitment of NSCS lightly. We know our members work hard to be able to join the society and as such, we take careful steps to ensure that you are getting great value for the cost. That being said, NSCS does charge a one-time, lifetime membership fee. The fees support our 501(c)3 non-profit organization on an annual basis. NSCS staff works hard to re-invest the funds in worthwhile programs and services that benefit our members.
There are different tiers of membership you can choose based on your own personal needs. The regular membership fee is $97 and you only pay this once. There are no other costs or fees once you join.
