Is there a deadline to accept the invitation? Is it too late to join? What if the deadline has passed?
Each person has their own unique deadline based on when they were originally invited. In many instances, you will receive a direct mail invitation sent to your home address that includes your own deadline. If you are unsure of your deadline, you can contact the NSCS Member Success team at nscs@nscs.org or by phone at 202-265-9000. In general, the deadline to join is usually the end of the semester in which you were invited. You can enter your invitation code on the join page and if it still works, you are still eligible to join.
If you are worried about being able to pay for your membership, we offer a payment plan option that allows you to split the payments into 3 equal installments. That way you can join now and not worry about the invitation deadline. The payment plan option is available during the join process on the payment page.
