Why are you asking for Parent information?

I'm an adult, why are you asking for my parent?

First of all, providing information on your parent is completely optional. You can join without providing that. The reason we ask for it is that many of our members are 18-20 year old students in college and we have a parent-focused newsletter we send out with helpful information. It's relevant when the member still lives at home or is supported by the parent. If that's not your situation, no problem. It can also help if we ever lose touch with you by being able to reach out to your parent, but let's hope that isn't necessary.
